Sins of the Father

Marcus Rose is the lead homicide detective at the DCPD.  His squad investigates the murder of a female who was tied face down and brutally stabbed to death.  The killer writes the number 347 on the bathroom mirror in the victim’s blood.  During the investigation, they discover two other murders with similar patterns.  The investigation takes twists and turns until Marcus discovers the true meaning of the number 347.  All roads lead to a stunning conclusion.

No member of Marcus’ squad is perfect.  They each have their own flaws and idiosyncrasies as most of us do.  The details of their lives are as much of the story as the crimes they investigate.  They use humor to mask the stress of being homicide detectives but they leave no doubt that solving the crime is their number one objective.  When they come together as a team, they are the perfect squad.

This was an outstanding and entertaining read. Conveyed with the true suspense and cop humor only someone who has really been on the job and lived the life intimately knows. Please continue to share the stories of these characters. I can’t wait to read the next book about their exploits in the heart of our nations capital.
